Here should be something for everybody. And if you need some help to find wines for your menu, please don’t hesitate to ask our Sommelier.
Our main priority for the wine cellar has been France, with mainly Bordeaux and Burgundy wines. But we also have a lot of great wines from other countries and regions.
We have a great connection with our wine agents, and are lucky enough to get wines from the best producers in the world in different vintages. And we are proud to be able to offer them to our guests.
Our wine cellar isn’t big, but if you wish to have a look at the selections we offer or just to have a glass of Champagne before your dinner, we are more than happy to do that if the time allows it.
In the past few years we have received some awards for our wine list from the well known American wine magazine Wine Spectator.
They give awards to the restaurants with the most outstanding wine lists in the world. These awards can be compared to Guide-Rouge, also known as the Michelin Guide in the world of fine dining.
Some of the criteria’s are that we offer a great selection of wines, in different vintages, and that the wines we serve are suitable to our menu.
In 2008 our restaurant received Best Award of Excellence, together with 15 other restaurants in Norway. This award is the second best award they give. There are currently no restaurants in Norway whom have been given the highest award.
